On 02/08/2012, officers assigned to a burglary detail on the City’s near-West Side observed three subjects in the 400 block of Summit Street enter a residence. Officers set up a perimeter around the area and observed the subjects leave the residence and walk through the alley. Officers attempted to stop them, but all three fled on foot and were soon caught. One of the subjects had a laptop computer from the residence on his person. Officers also found a television by the garage.
The three arrestees confessed to the burglary. Ali Aranda and Justin Selle, of Joliet, and a juvenile were all charged with burglary.
